Invazie de pleoșnițe la Spitalul Bagdasar-Arseni. O secție a fost închisă, pacienții sunt transferați către alte spitale

A bedbug infestation has been identified at the Bagdasar-Arseni Emergency Clinical Hospital in Bucharest, leading to the closure of the Neuromuscular Recovery Department for disinfection. Some patients will be discharged, while others will be transferred to different medical facilities. The hospital officials confirmed the presence of bedbugs in multiple areas, prompting a three-week closure for thorough pest control. Patients requiring recovery services can still access outpatient care. This incident is not the first of its kind in Bucharest hospitals, as previous infestations have also resulted in temporary closures for disinfection procedures.
